General information
Target Audience
The Specialized Complementation Program (PCE) - Fellow - of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP) is aimed at doctors and professionals from other health areas, specialists interested in improving their knowledge in subspecialties. It comprises periods of theoretical, practical and orientation activities.
Dedication of 15 to 40 hours per week of practical activities, as defined by the program.
prerequisite
Complete residency, accredited by the National Commission for Medical Residency and the National Commission for Medical Residency in Health or equivalent internship, with a minimum workload of 2800 hours, as defined by the department to which the course is linked.

UROGYNECOLOGY AND PELVIC FLOOR DYSFUNCTIONS
Objectives :
Develop clinical reasoning in diagnoses and treatments in pelvic floor disorders with outpatient care; demonstrate and develop technical capacity in outpatient procedures such as urodynamic testing, simplified potassium test and cystoscopy. Offer knowledge about the different types of vaginal, abdominal and laparoscopic surgeries. Develop research in the area of expertise.
